Kaligonj Bus Stand

This photo was taken from Kaligonj Bus Stand at 20/10/2009. It is the eastern part of the bus stand. The specialty of the bus stand is there are a lot of tea stall around it, and every tea stall has a TV to watch the satellite TV programmes. Here are some views from various location.

Dalagram Bazar

This photo was taken from Dalagram Bazar, one ancient bazar of Kaligonj Upazila. It is near about four kilomter in distance from upazila head quarter, in the way of Chaparhat, The largest 'hut' of the upazila.

Kacha Bazar, Tushbhander

This is the vegetable shops of Tushbhander bazar, locally it is called as 'kacha bazar'. All kinds of seasonal vegetable are available here for all day long. But before 2001 no vegetable were available in the morning, it was only available in afternoon. It is standing in the south of the main road. The photo was taken on October, 2009.

This photo was taken at 10th October 2009, from the middle of the western part of Tushbhander bazar. As it was Saturday, a holiday and as it was mid day so the market was out of crowd. It becomes c rowdy at morning and afternoon, and office working days also.

Road to Bot Tola

Bot tola is a religious place for Hindus of the Upazila and this is the road connecting to bot tola from upazila head quarter.

Central Mosque

This is the central mosque of Kaligonj upazila. Locally it is called as 'court maszid'. It is located in the eastern zone of Upazila Bhaban. All the prayers along with Eid Salat held in this mosque. The fence of the garden was constructed in 2009. And the renovation of the mosque were done in 2009, the total decoration was changed in this year, it was fully decorated with tiles fittings.

Central Shaheed Miner

This photo was taken from the front of central shaheed miner of Kaligonj Upazila. It is situated in the east of Tushbhander School field. It is famous for its cultural activities, because all the large cultural activities held in front of this shaheed miner. It was established by the upazila parishad in the year 2004.
